Mach 5 MAW 15 Box done *PICS*

Its getting more popular but definately not as strong as the s-10. Rangers are much harder to bag and what not which is why more people go for the S-10's. The engine bay is also very tight. A 350 conversion on an s-10 is not terribly hard to do, but fitting this 302 in the ranger was hell. One good thing I have found about older rangers is that most mustang parts match up:) Ive got a mustang 8.8 rear end on the ranger

 
Here is whats been done so far, put in a 302 motor out of a early 80's mustang, it had low miles on it when i tore it down so i just put a mild cam in it and all new gaskets top to bottom with a new oil pump. Has a new 4 barrel holly 650 cfm carb, starter, alternator, everything for ******, ford 9 inch, and 8.8 rear out of a mustang so it can tuck a reasonable offset tire. The smog heads have been replaced with refreshed ones. About to tear out the dash and shorten the steering column, my buddy is making a custom fiberglass dash completely free of charge(just gotta sport his sticker). I needed the steering column shortened cuz its a standard cab and Im 6'4" lol.
