Mach 5 ixl or RE SE 10, help or other suggestions

Hey all, i'm looking to run one 10" sub in a sealed .65cu ft enclosure in a back of a 98 Camaro. I like my music to have good sq but also like to feel some thump when I turn it up (had a camaro w/2 15's, would love to do 2 12's but not at this time).

So, i've been reading and it seems like the Mach 5 ixl and the RE SE 10 might be some good options. For my amp I have a Memphis 1000d so I should be able to throw ~1100wrms at the Mach5 in a D2 config and throw 600wrms at the RE SE in a D4 config.

Basically, which sub would make me happier or, any other suggestions would be nice. I really can't go with a bigger box or go ported as i'm very limited at this time.

i absolutely loved my mach 5's, had em in a vented box, but i listen to alot of metal and rap, and it was surprising on the lows and had plenty of upper kick..plus it will definately take that 1100 watts

That's good to hear, I keep leaning towards one of them, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to reach out and ask. Curious, why did you get rid of them then?

I agree with the others. The IXL sounds fricking amazing. Its still my benchmark when comparing other drivers.
