Mach 5 IXL 10s

Im really looking to get some more room in my truck but I still want to be as loud as possible. I came across "Mach 5 audio" and saw their 10" subwoofers. They state

" Recommended Box Size

12L (0.4 cu. ft.) 30Hz tuning"

Is that serious??and 30hz??? Sounds perfect to me. Small box, low tuning, and still pretty loud.

Oh and the price on them dropped to $109 each!

I would be going from 2 AQ HDC3 10"s on a 3500D to these on maybe an AQ2200D. Am I going to be disappointed with these? Should I just recone my 1 HDC3 and pick up an AQ 2200D?

Yeah, Mach 5 is pretty legit. I consider them more SQ than SPL, and the MLI-65 mids get lots of praise over at DIYMA.

Mach 5 is pretty decent. Its deff not gonna be as loud as the hdc3's but itll still be bass! Check out sundown sa-8's smaller space and theres a vid on youtube of 2 doing a 150+ on the TL
