Mach 460 Harness

I have a 2003 Mustang GT and I am looking for the wiring harness that runs from the back of the stereo to the amps in the trunk. I have gone to three different ford stores in three different cities and a few stereo shops, and nooooooone knows where I can find this. If anyone knows can they let me know please. TIA

Honestly.. I don't think they make one. To add an external amp you will need a adapter that takes signals from the RR+, RR-, LR+ and LR- and converts them to RCA out. You can buy 4 or 2 channel adapters. http://www.davaidnavone.com Check them out.

why do you need the wiring harness to run to the back of the amps?

The amps from the Mach 460 system don't have any of your typical rca plugs or screws, it just has two of it's own clip in plugs that go to the rear deck and then route to the back of the stereo, using another clip in plug. If that makes any sense.

I see what you're saying. So you need a plug that attaches to the clip that is plugged in to the factory amp from the headunit on the rear deck which allows rca's? Hmmmm.... they gotta make one!

I'm currently swapping the Mach 460 system into my car. I'm not trying to add anything extra to it. I'm lacking 1 wire. It's the wire that connects to the stock amps in back, to the back of the Mach 460 deck. They're all clip in plugs.

OIC! Crap.. we are on totally different pages! Anyway.. I hate telling you this, but I think you need to go to the Ford Dealership and take the walk of shame to the parts department. I'm sure they can order it for you.

I tried that but, even they were totally clueless. They pretty much told me that they could show me some pictures and I could pick out which one looks right but, they all send me to a shop that supposedly handles all their radio issues.

I called that shop and they told me that they're out of the part I need... no idea when/if they will ever get it back in. Lovely.
