I just got a 15'' macbook pro, i like it a lot but its a lot different than windows, the only problem im having is I downloaded the msc version of aim i think its version 4.7 which really sucks and keeps randomly closing on me, are there any better instant messaging programs I can use my aim screen name on besides that and the one that comes on the macbook ( I think its called ichat or something ). Also what other programs would be good to have. I dont really do any movie or sound editing or any intense gaming. I mostly use mine to search the web, instant message, download and listen to music.
Azures use to look like bits on wheels, it was just recent where it has been more resource hungry.Get Adium for AIM, http://www.adiumx.com. Blows Aim, even for windows out of the water.
Whoever said Azerus for torrents is an idiot, I've never come across a more resource hungry app ever. Get Bits on Wheels.
For right clicking, go into preferences and you can set it to right click when you tap with two fingers.
New Imacs are freaking sweet. I want a macbook pro, but don't have the cash. Sister just got a new macbook and its nice though, my iBook G4 is dyin on me.
Oh and a shortcut i use a lot is apple +H it hides the current window, not just minimizing to the dock.
Seeing as my G4 20" imac was stolen, id definetly agree with that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI think you should get a more updated mac
