Yea so I got a Macbook for graduation, and os x alot different than windows which I've been on all my life, any apps or anything I should know of? Any hidden stuff? the manual doesnt really cover much.

Anyone else have one? It's been pretty cool so far. Especially Garageband.

Anyways if you can think of anything that's pretty cool about it that I should know about, that'd be pretty cool, I can barely find my way around it right now.

You can dual boot, meaning you can run Windows AND OS X on the same computer.

Use a program called BootCamp, and create a partition for Windows.

Therefore you can run either OperatingSystem.

Nope, my brother has the MacBook Pro with the Core2duo... works great.

Today is my first day posting on a mac my self, os x desktop, its pretty nice, simple. Just takes a while to get used to but once you figure it out its a breeze. I still like windows though. I am thinking about getting a ibook sometime... Nice computers.

are you into making music, or videos and shit, thats what these computers are best for and there are lots of products/programs out there along those lines.... I mean what did you use your old computers for? Get the same programs if they have os x versions I guess... lol
