I haven't yet, but my buddy did. From the demo Apple had on their website, it was looking like Time Machine was going to be pretty sweet, but my friend said it's terrible. The other 2 things I am looking forward to, spaces and stacks, appear to be well received.

well the time machine uses a lot of space. since its basically a raid in essence

I've been running Leopard for a week or so now and I am very impressed. Stacks are somewhat useful, mainly the application one, and I really like the download folder. Spaces is nice especially when running parallels and keeping multiple unrelated applications running. I would hesitate to call time machine terrible. I actually tested it out by backing up the day I installed, had it keep incremental backups every hour, then restored 4 days later with absolutely no problems (using 1tb fw800 drive). Overall I'm impressed and it was worth my 10 bucks.

sorry you're having so much trouble with your mac Jmac, Hopefully you can get ahold of apple and get something worked out...

Parallels won't do me much good ... I'd be using Windows for gaming and gaming in a virtual environment sucks ...

well you could run it native via bootcamp. but i needed/wanted the virtual environment to use small programs instead of going back and forth. I am still capable of usin it native if i needed to
