Unless its a new intel G5 its going to be slow as **** doing that.

Not reading the whole thread, but just going to correct you:

The Intel processors REPLACED the G5 processors that were made by IBM. You cannot run BootCamp with the PowerPC G5 CPUs.

I recommend Transmit for all of your FTP needs, it's made by a company named Panic

Most of the time when you try and do a task from the menu bar it will show the keyboard shortcut right next to it.

One of my favorite features is active corners. The album art screen saver is cool too.

Indeed. You can set it to change the background picture at pretty much any time interval you want.

After I got my mac I heard stories about the superdrive failing and such. I got an external drive almost right away, not just because of the stories, but I also wanted to burn dual layer dvds.

When my mac's hard drive failed I sent it to Tennessee to be fixed, got it back 3 days later good as new. So fast it spun my head around. I love mac's warranty.
