i just bought 2 of these. They are sitting in my room they are 10" 350 watt rms 700 wat peak at 4 ohms. I got my amp and evrything and i am going to run them at 1 ohm so i was wondering if it was better to get a ported or sealed box for them. Also has anybody heard these in real life and do they hit good?

Ported. Where you getting the box?

MA is meh, they should hit okay though.

Got a Sealed Box its waiting to get installed Ill let you no how it sounds when its in. Buying amp and installing on wednesday. By the way its my first system.

Those Ma Audio subs love ported boxes... I wouldn't go sealed with them.

Don't expect much sq out of those but they should "hit okay".

Really? man i wish i would of got ported now o well should still sound good thx for feedback.

its installed. I think it pounds pretty hard i cant see out my rear view mirror and it rattles the window on my house when i pull up.

You need a quality 700 rms+ amp and a good built ported box and it will sound a lot better.

its fine for now cause i dont got any money and ill have to upgrade speakers too cause i cant hear the music all i hear is bass so its good for now but thanks for the help ill try it when i get money.
