Anyone use this amp? Wondering how well it works. I have 2 15" kicker L7s, could this be ran to get the most out of my subs without killing them? What amp do you recommend for 2 l7s ? Right now im running a Crunch PZI3000.1d amp. It sounds good but i know these subs can do much better. Im topping out at 127db

get a HO alt, 6 runs of 1/0 guage going to 2 extra batteries.

I bet with a sub 130 score you have no elctrical upgrades and are considering runnign 4k.

Subs are firing out of phase?

Get your electrical up to par and I bet you break 130's!

you put MA Hardkore series in a sealed box what sort of insane SPL did that put out?

Hes not running 2 10"'s here.

He needs atleast 14 deep cycle batteries for his system, and probably 3 more HO alternators to charge em. With that he should be able to break 240db easy.

no i have not upgraded any other electricals. 127 is good, but my goal is 140. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I do need to tune my amp a lil better.

I don't think you understand, the more batteries you have, the more SPL you output.

I'm not sure if every one of those responses was just people being sarcastic, or if this forum really is filled with complete morons. Yeah, the electrical system needs some serious upgrades for that amp, but no, you don't need to go adding a bunch of batteries and caps. A HO alt, a good run of 0 ga and a deep cycle battery in the front and rear, something cheap like an Optima Yellow top in the front and a Kinetik or Odyssey in the rear. And sealed won't get you anywhere, ported is the only way to go. 127db is pretty bad, even for a trunk system.

lol you guys are jerks

first off, you have a sealed box. and for big numbers, that is 100% retarded. learn to build ported and tuned enclosures accurately and your numbers will be much bigger

secondly, 4000RMS is a lot of power, you WILL need a high output alternator, and the standard measuring method is 1 ampere for every RMS watt, so you're looking at around 4000amperes of battery power. In other words, thats two kinetik hc2000 batteries.

lastly, 4000RMS will destroy those subs

True 4000RMS will destroy those subs but I seriously doubt that amp is giving out 4000 watts..

actually it's generally 1 amp for every 10 watts, so he's looking at a little over 400 amps draw. I run the HK4000D and that has a 400+ amp draw depending on how much power I'm trying to get out of it.

amp puts well over 4k out at 16v below 1ohm. but the amp does NOT like to play music at .33 ohm i promise u that haha. better have at least 2 2400's and a HO alt on your vehicle to even think about running that amp.

To fully utilitilize 17 caps he would need atleast four HO alternators under the hood, and 27 runs of 1/0 gauge on the big 3.
lol.... wow

anyway, stop messing w/ shitty amps. both the pzi and 802 aren't good amplification choices... even if your on a low budget. Both are ab amps..which 95% of people shouldn't run to their subs.

how much are you looking to spend on a new amp..
