Im looking for peoples opinions on this amp and MA audio amps in general... ive researched and found them to be pretty good for the price, but i dont know if those people who reviewed it, are just regular people that dont know crap. PLease just give your $.2

the AB amps are rated at 17v, but from what i read they will do rated power.

That amps gonna be less efficient than the hk4000d, however.

and im not sure if it applies to the AB amps or not, but i know with the hk4000d, you need to run your remote wire to a relay, and run a 12v wire straight from your battery to the amp.

Sorry, im somewhatof a newb, but whats the difference with 17v, and also is the AB just different efficentcies ? because I know D is the most efficent? I am comparing it to a hifonics bxi2600d and I can get them for the same price so please fill me in. Here are the specs....

i have 4 of the 401 and run them at .5 al day and burp at .25 very good amps needs a lot of power i have 8 runs of 0 to them the 4000 are a very good amp also but 180 draw and must people well never see the full 4000 unless you up grade ele system the 801 are also a very good amp i am going to run 2 of them next year.3600 rms each

i think they're both rated at 17v.

i know snoopdan testifies that the hardkore amps do rated power, but i've never heard anyone say one way or the other about the mi's......

i'd stick with the hk's if you want to KNOW you're getting at least close to rated.

i just don't think there'd be a SQ difference.
