MA AUDIO HK4000D vs. SS PCA3500D

The ma audio claims 3600 watts at 2ohms at 14 volts. One of my favorites in the 4000 watt category is the memphis mojo, this beast does well over 4000 watts at 1 ohm. Ive heard of a pair of mojos strapped at .7 doing in the area of 14000-15000 watts at 18 volts.

i dont know where he got it from but he paid over 800.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
i would much rather get the HK4000D for $500 and put in a 17v electrical

hey, sorry, ya i was talking about the opti

i did pay 830 for it shipped, but it's new with warranty

and as for the hk4000D, i'll bet it's a great amp, i almost got one.

i just don't plan on doing any more electrical upgrades, and my 240A alty is the biggest i can get for my car, and there's no room to put another one, so i needed a regulated p/s for that kind of power.

if you've got the electrical to keep your voltage up, the hk4000D is a steal, IMO

plus, i really liked the display feature. a voltage readout ON the amp would be ideal for seeing what's going on the fly

how do you like the lanzar? 830 is a little much for my right about now lol

i just bought it last night....

it's a lot of $$ for me right now, too

but ever since i was forced to sell my opti2000D a few years ago, it's the amp i've always dreamed of owning, so i had to do it....

Yikes $120 less than I got my Goliath for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

if your coil config is dual 1.8 then you can't wire both subs together at .9
i've owned a hk4000d and loved it

well since the hk4000d is only stable down to 2 ohm i will wire together and get a 1.8 load. i think bang for buch the ma audio is the way to go. it will have 5 yellow tops and a big alt to back it up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
