MA Audio hk2000d - pros and cons

Give me some pro's and cons about this amp

I was gonna go with a Phoenix Rsd1200 for my MA audio Kore 15 5000 rms sub....

but i recently heard that MA audio amps sound real nice with the MA audio subs....

so now im leaning toward this amp... so pros and cons

and does it over heat at all?

Well first of all, amps do not have a "sound" to them. They provide a source of power in the form of watts to power your driver(s).

Who provided you with that little gem?

The brand of amp vs brand of speaker has no effect on sound.

MA isn't generally considered a high quality brand, but that amp "should" do something near rated (14v) power. For 300 shipped at sonicelectronix I can't think of a better deal on a new amp, and if you're ok with ebay you can get it for $250.

I like Ma audio amps(only the HK series) they do make good power for the price, ive had a few and have not had one let me down yet

If it's a real Kore series sub, then you'll need more than 1200-1500 watts.
