my amp as a plasma sphere. and it burnt out in 4 days. i did not buy the amp for that i could care less the amp is in the trunk and bolted to my box. i just wanted to kinda know if all that dig read out crap is a gimick. thanks.

even if it does burn out, that should be a pretty simple fix with a soldering iron. Assuming you can get to the part that is burnt out

i mean most of those amps that offer like lights that light up or dig read out of voltage and temp on the amp they some times burn out and stop workin. it happend to me in the past and my brothers friend. so i wanted to know if it would hold up? i did do some research and i found out it does draw some current . and its hard to really push your subs. the amp will get hot. so i guess ill pass if im paying for 1800 rms and i can only really turn the amp settings only to less then half way thats kinda a waste thanks. and i am ready i been ready that why im asking questions and i got a book with all the stuff i need and how to wire it up . if im not ready now then i will never b. i could go to a shop and let them do it and learn nothing . thanks guys the 1600 d might be the amp for me .

every review that i read the people say they cant really turn there radios up and amp past midd setting or the amp gets so hot . i do thank every one and i am doing my best to search the net for a amp. there is so many amps and there all pretty much around the same price. well the ones im looking at is.

PA is junk!!That's why the shit broke.If you buy a quailty amp and take care of it the thing work last forever.If your main focus is this then maybe you should reconsider your purchase.

you have no idea what clipping is do ya? read the sticky on amplifier gain setting

i could care less about a light on the amp that im never gona see. i just wanted to know about the dig read out on the amp in the first place. this thread should not turn in to what i know and dont know thank you. i do understand u guys are thinking i dont know what this or that.
