Hi guys...
I was looking for a replacement for my Rockford Fosgate 1501 BD amplifier.
Then I stumbled upon the HK-4000D from MA Audio.
Since I don't know the brand too well, I was hoping if someone could tell me if this would be a good replacement (for the RF 1501 BD)...
Here is the link for the amplifier: http://www.maaudio.com/productview.cfm?pid=2369205
Anyways this amplifier will be used to power 2x 12" RE XXX subwoofers. I just think the power which the RF puts out is just not enough to make the RE XXX pound as they should unfortunately.
And will I get in trouble with my current electrical system?
My car:
Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI
- (stock) alternator 140 A
- 2nd battery Optima Yellow top
- Lightning Strike 50 Farad cap.
Please let me know what you think of the above.
Thanks.
