MA AUDIO HC4002 vs rub1.2500?

I found a used hc4002 for 200 OBO or I can buy a new rub2500 for 300 firm.

Will the hc do near rated? I only need about 3k. Does it have the fire issue like the HK4000? I will have battery and a good electrical. Im leaning toward the used ma audio and maybe get it for 175? And I can hook it up in my car before I buy it.
