This morning i got my "150xe" 15" back from them. After waiting 2 months to get it, it turns out its actually not a 150xe at all, its a completely different subwoofer. Different VC config, different cone, different surround, completely new basket. Heres the best part, the surround is torn/falling apart in several places already which im sure will void my warranty, the trim ring was damaged in shipping which tore the surround up.

I originally bought these cuz they were cheap, i was on a budget, and the specs looked decent. I started at around 70 bucks a peice, after spending 35 on shipping the first one back, right now im sitting at 180 invested in the pair. I wont hate on the company too much, they got loud as hell for what they were, but the customer service is as good as a gas station janitors bathroom cleaning. I planned on selling them, but whose gonna buy a set of mismatched subs? do they not make the sub you had anymore and upgraded you models(kicker would do that so people would have mismatch CVRs after the design changed, kinda funny)? Have you called them about the condition of the sub you received? The sub itself doesn't look damaged to me from that picture, just the gasket

thats part of the actual surround, and its peeling up to the point where the surround is coming unglued from the basket. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Looks like they shipped it upside down and the new style trim ring ****ed it up good. I did call them during the return process and remind them that i had the older style sub (which is actually a dif sub altogether, the one i recieved is a replacement for a dif model) They assured me they had a few old ones laying around and that theyd make sure i got the match for mine. I guess ill clip the shit out of my other one on my m1000 and spend 35 bucks to get a matching pair.

I dont think were thinking about the same part here, i realize the trim ring/gasket is broken, but what im saying is the glue that holds the cone in is peeling up on the edges of the basket where its torn (you can see 4 parts in the pic) as far as i know its part of the surround, as its the same material and is 1 piece.

The actual 150xe's are gray and have ribbed surrounds, and are decent for the price.
