Looking at buying a pair of those for a system, running a xt4000d usamps amp, would i be able to wire up 2 DVC 4 ohm subs to get a 1 ohm load? I dont think id be able to but im not very familiar with wiring just yet. Would someone point out a better, good quality amp in the under 300$ range that would be around 12-1400 rms ? Either a mono block or 2 channel, and i guess id need that at 2 ohms. Or would it be safe to run it on the usamps with 1500rms, if i can somehow get a 1 ohm load?

The xt4000d only puts out about 1200rms

Yes, you can run two subs that are dual 4ohm voice coils (each) down to one ohm

You can get better subs for the money (look at the for sale section)

For the amp, I'd look at the Hifonics Brutus 1606d, it puts out about 1300rms, and is actually what I just purchased. Can be found on ebay for 230-250 new.

You'd want to run a mono block amp for subs.

I was looking at the hifonics amps and it looks like they have horrible s/n ratios? Signal To Noise Ratio: > 95 dB where as the sn ratio on the US amps is 80 db, i think i may go with the us amps since theyre both around the same price, and the amp specs seem to be much better. You should check out the us amps xt4000d and see what you think, seems to be the best "cheap" amp ive come across so far

Oh and about the blaster, thanks. It actually had a 79 YZ250 motor (older aircooled YZ motor, picked it up for 230$ on ebay) Then i got a drag port and polish, rechambered head running 170 psi compression and 104 octane, 38mm airstryker carb, FMF SST Pipe, all set up to look stock, and it did because noone never knew it wasnt a blaster motor, used to suprise some 450 and banshee owners with it before i sold it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I absolutely LOVED when people would be like "you aint doin shit with that old *** 2 stroke son, lets line up" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif You ride or race or anything?
