how exactly did you go about the resistors? that part has confused me for awhile..i never put the effort in the figure it out. im content with a 12v system but im still curious...

You've owned a bunch of subs not aimed at high end spl systems? bazooka? im sure ma will pound compared to a RF....the local shop was demoing a set of MA's...i think the model number was the same as the one the other guy supporting MA said..the 12"s. ya they got decently loud but they sounded like ***. power acoustik subs will get loud...doesnt mean theyre good subs. have you owned any real spl subs? btl's, mt's, big treo's, dd's, IA's, aq's, lms ultra? have you heard these subs? that would be nice before pushing ma's constantly in comparison to big spl subs

I have had MTs, Solo X 18s, MOJO M3s, 9915Gs, actually a ton of subs, i have ran walls, 4 12s in the trunk doing a 150, 12 10s in a wall, everything, from a single 8, and alot of subs, the ma's for the money, rock, and my hk12x2s sounded very good, there a great sub i think!! Here is a couple videos, the first one is with the hk4000d, then the 2nd one is with a xx-colossus II,(before i got the hk4000d)!!

And this is just a prefab box, in a 2004 hemi durango!!

Check my ava. I have two hk12x2's right now and they do slamm.Might not be an MT.But they do have output.Really an SPL sub so if you want SQ maybe not the best choice.

As for the price your getting screwed.

i heard both hk12x2 and 15x2's before and both slammed HARD.. i actually wanted the 12x2s at one point.. and i may one day own a set since they intrigued me so much.. i cant say a bad thing about those woofers. they are online for $400 shipped per set

Its only four resistors and takes proably 1/2 hour to pull the cover cut and reassemble.Both of mine are modded....

I do have the resistor numbers at home.But that doesn't help for all of them.A couple might be hidden under some of the glue.

I was interested because im curious about the "capacitor" on an electrical system to stop light dimming because of draw from stereo...

Are you talking about the amp mod or something else???Cause it won't stop your lights from dimming!Especially pulling 3600 watts continous...
