ive got some ma hk 2 channels and they seem to work nice for me and power my speakers nicely.

i guess i could always return it if it sucks 1 yr warranty, but have you guys heard about m/a being over rated ??? thats my main concern .. it not putting out the full 800 rms. what do you guys think ? thanks

prally is overrated.

i had my ma hk898 (RATED @ 1200w rms bridged) on my 12" xxx, and i doubt it was getting 1200w, but it was still pretty **** loud...if your box is good i doubt a few hundred watts would matter. for 100 bux though, its prally a decent budget amp.

i think that question has been answered. yes that ma audio amp IS overrated. as are alot of amps. even hifonics amps tend to be overrated. get yourself a kx600.1 youll be happy

i dont consider them to do rated power maybe 2/3 of the power! they are reliable and for 100 dollars it will get the job done im sure

Ive got an ma HK401sx mono amp powering 2 type r 12s running a 1ohm for 8 months now, it says it does 1200w rms at 1 ohm and 1800 at 0.5ohm. either way to me it has been very reliable and gets mental loud ... as far as the amp you are looking at i would give it a try you never know it might work well if not sell it as the price is right...
