if a sub 8 ohms and u have the same one thats 4 ohms is a lower ohm rating of a sub better than a high rating ohm sub?

what causes the break down of ohms , like how do u wire say an 8 ohm sub down to 4 ohms?

Youu just get more power at a lower ohm.

ok like this ...........2 8ohm subs wired in parallel will get ya a 4ohm load that the amp........it really depends on what your amp is stable to

i hav 2 ppi's there 8 ohms each i believe

this is my amps details--> Max Power Output (4 Ohm) 250 W

Rated Power Output (4 Ohm) 120 W

i have it hooked up that i bridged the 2 channels on the amp and connected the 2 + of the subs to one channel and the 2 - of the sub to the other channel..this set up right?

oh ya i know the amps just a straight out piece of **** lol but i got it for free and am looking for something as we speak
