I just installed a pa1800db along with an alpine f250 or something like that. Before I had a TMA500.1 replacing the PA and the voltage would stay from 13.4-14.0 driving around. Now it drops to 11.2-12.4 what bad happens to the cars electrical is straining like that? I am about to get a new car so honestly dont really care. I just dont want the car to break down within a couple days.

keep the volume down till you get a new car. i heard about some one that fried his subs because the voltage droped to low. dont really understand how that works but it did. if it drops to low i would guess your car could stall.

You could get a dry cell battery for your trunk that will transfer to your new vehicle. You'll more than likely have the same voltage issues in it as well.
