Low Temp Lifepo4

So lithium , specifically lifepo4 does not like charging in low temp environments.

I've heard you can put a small load on the battery and get it to warm up enough to accept charging.
So would you have better low temperature performance with you battery permanently having a .5-1amp constant draw...

Or is that not enough to raise internal temperature?????
 
yeah.. my rig is acting a little funny.

It will sit at 13.2V with the car off.

Sit at idle and sometimes my Alternator wants to wind up to 15v .....
It'll be 14.6-14.8 by the time it gets to the back with the jy40....

still.... it's riding the ragged edge of TOO HIGH voltage
