low sub volume

i have a alpine 9833 deck an alpine m1005 amp and 2 visonik 10" subs.

after installing my amp and hooking it up i found that at the highest sub volume on my deck (15) i was getting a low vibration out of it. ive checked my rca and there fine. ive tried playing around with the amp controlls but i got nothing.

im realy stuck and help would be greatly appreciated

since you have 2 10s I'd put my money on you having them wired out of phase. Where your subs are plugged into your amp, switch the + and - of ONE of them and see if the problem goes away. Make sure ur gainss arent all the way down? Set them correctly by ear or by that one tutorial in the sticky on the amp forum.

ive tried my subs on someone elses car and they worked. alsomy amp is digial so the onlt gain controll is on the deck. but thanks for the sujestions

the 2004 1 right? you should be able to adjust the gian from the amp... go to it and arrow over till u see Input or something of the sort. enter and then u have an option of -18 -12 -6 or 0, then u also get a sub option called gain of 0 +3 +6 +9. As you turn the input towards 0 it gets louder same as incraesing the gain. I dont own the mrd-m1005 but I have the mrd-m301 so i am guessing it is the same type of setup. But set your gians with that. you probably have it at like -18 or something really low.

it is the 05 model and i dont think it has that option on it. but i can change it on my deck ill try that thanks

Have you tryed adjusting your HPF/LPF (high pass filter/Low pass filter) settings on your alpine? You might not be sending the lows you your subs. Just a thought. Good luck!
