Looking for an 8"er. Power handling doesn't have to be much. Anything in the 200-500 range is pretty workable.

The less depth, the better.

Preferably something optimized for sealed applications.

If something comes along that fits my plan, awesome! If not, I'll probably keep my current sub stage.

On that note, Arc Audio 10", Lorentz Neo 8", JL 300/2, MTX 4202, 25 feet of OFC wire are all for sale/trade for this purpose.

Best wishes!

Not that its a big deal but I am curious as to why turn your nose up at the Pioneer? Its the best option in this thread and it is exactly what you are looking for as per your requirements?
Model number? Perhaps I'm recalling a different driver.

Image Dynamics ID8 v.3 D2?
Price? Trades? D4 would be excellent, though.

for the 2 mint ones i woudl take that 300/2 off your hands. or the mtx and neo 8
Hmmm...tempting... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Pioneer Premier TS SW841D only need about 50-100rms, They are not a huge output driver they are ment for very small sealed enclosures, of course you can go a little bigger or do some polyfill in the req space to get a deeper responce.

That is what I was thinking of. It is capable, but there is no replacement for displacement and 3.5mm of max has its limitations. I will pass for now, but thank you very much.

I assume. It is a prototype Jacob used to do testing for the v1 line. The v2 I have for sale also may not be sold yet if your interested in that one.
i got 3 sundown e8's had one on a 600 watt soundstream and in a super small sealed box it sounded great in a 3 way setup with a 6.5" comp set
If other things don't happen, I may come back to this idea. Thanks.

i have a brand new 8w3v3-4. a guy gave me a deposit to build him a custom box to house a pair of them and then never came back. sold one locally, the other is sitting in my shop looking for a new home. pm me if interested.

I believe the rockford fostage 8s are great for sq orientation. I am going to look at one this weekend to test it out for purchase and will try to keep up here about whether a deal has been made or not. But as far as your choices so far, the fosgate and the pioneer looks to be the optimum choices for you request. I can give you details on it after the weekend whether it is worth the buy or not if interested. I know its waiting a few days, but may be a great choice for your request and will be quite inexpensive if the driver performs well when testing. I will be testing its parameters and power handling and such during the weekend so again, ill keep you updated if interested. Not sure which model yet as the seller is not sure and has no pics to show, which is why I am going to check it out personally.
