planning on a future build and was wondering if anybody had suggestions. I am looking at 2 alpine type-r's dual 2 ohm. can go either 2 channel or mono but would like about 400-500RMS to each sub. Any input is greatly appreciated.

oh and this is on a relativly low budget($200 max-ish) for a quicker install

spend 50 more and get a Audioque 1200d, 249 shipped to your door directly from AQ. Very happy with mine. but youd need dual 4 ohm to reach a 1 ohm final load

X2, i had to "budget amps" before, but once you try some quality stuff you wont regret your investment.

Profile is a good budget amp. Hifonics is good for it too. You might be able to get an Autek SS series, which should do it for you. There's alot of them out there. Find a used eD 9.1 for that price but like ^^^ said, I'd look in to AQ's lines.

I second profiles. I'm running one for my speakers and it's great for the cost ($80 new, $20 from a buddy). My roommate got their 1000w (it's more like 600w) for $120 new.

Do some ebay searching, as you can sometimes score great deals there.
