soundstream amp

hello, i'm looking at buying an amp for my little jazz but currently i dunt have any idea of which amp to choose from. Currently i'm thinking of getting a very decent amp for the long run along with component speakers, and work my way up to upgrading the HU and installing a sub and rears in the future. I went to autobarn the other day to see what they have to say. they told me i be best with the soundstream tarantula series. I havn't heard of this brand b4 but according to the sales person there it is 'the best' of car audio. So could i ask you pros out there if this brand is worth getting and which other brands are comparable to the soundstreams? the sales person also mentioned class a/b and class d amp, i'm noob, what does this mean???? thanks alot im open to any recomended setups
