Loudest Typr-r Enclosure!!!

so would making the box bigger only appy in a ported enclosure? or will you notice gains with a sealed box as well?

i wouldn't think it would be wise to make a bigger sealed box then what's recommended unlike a ported box.

we took it to the shop we got the sub from, let them hear it, they says its near 150dbi think mid 140's we'll know for sure on sept 3rd

you can hear him coming for like 5 minutes

Imo your bass will be real loose and a little uncontrollable. Most ppl use sealed to get better sq but that will work against you with a box that big.

possibly just the 12' depending on the vehicle and how it's set up.. it all comes down to the build.. Honestly.. I'd just go with the 2 12's.. I think they would give you plenty of sound.. and it would be atlot easier on the sub(s) for daily driving.. goodluck

I just put my new type r 12 in my 1.8 NET cubic feet enclosure tuned to 33hz and it sounds great and gets low with great extension but it seems to lack the precise punchy effect i was looking for. Any comment or suggestion aout this? Polyfill?
