ok I can do 1 12 in a 4 cubic foot box in the trunk of my car or 2 12's in a 4ft box, I think maybe the 1 12 would be louder because some ppl hit 150 with one? i dont though, what do u guys think?

i just did a Type R 12" in a 4 cubic foot enclosure at a 36hz tuning 1000w RMS v12 amp, we took it to the shop we got the sub from, let them hear it, they says its near 150db

i think mid 140's we'll know for sure on sept 3rd

not bad for SQL with a $150 sub

you can hear him coming for like 5 minutes

you can do great numbers with jus 1 sub.... 4.0 cub, 1 sub, alotta juice

and w/ 4 ft^3 it's still musical?? i really dont see how this 'magical' sub is so versatile in terms of enclosures

the enclosure i just build for the type R 12" has awsome sound quality unbelievable for a $150 sub, and a crazy amount of SPL (this is in my friends car)

a sub box that big is not musical when its tuned high other than that when tuned 30-40 hz or even below, earthshattering bass

-knock all your nieghbors pictures off there wall bass

-set off every car alarm in your radius bass

-useless rear view mirrior cause it wont stay up bass

-the muthaF just spilled my drink bass ****it i hate it when that happens
