You'll need to go to world finals to see 0000 gauge wire levitating like that. That's scary.

All of those top dog buids are using DD-Z because it's a very strong and efficient motor and you need the carbon fiber cones at those pressure levels because pulp cone would turn to confetti almost instantly.

not gonna argue that but its more acoustics than anything. understanding how to pressurize the airspace at resonance and building a low resistance cabin more so than amp and woofer selection. im sure if he traded out the components it would be very very similar..

a strong and efficient motor? the FS is only 48hz.. efficient woofer doesn't always correlate to excellent transfer function. you want good efficiency but the most efficient driver isn't always the loudest..

and no the carbon cones aren't stronger than paper they just have a better strength to weight ratio.. the heavy paper cones will hold up..

Idk about that. I cant remember who it was, DC? Sundown? Kept shredding paper cones in an extreme vehicle. Iirc it was somewhere around 175db

Dc Was shredding the paper cones (I think team rip rock or the a team)

They did fiberglass reinforced paper then iirc carbon Kevlar to hold up

Was mid-high 170's

I saw a test years ago that one of those extreme guys burped a 172 with a 10" boss sub or something (was one play and done but still)

Also they are doing 160's off a couple hundred watts
