Loudest single 12 and under setup

I've seen 50+ with a pr 12 but that was in a burp box at 60 some hertz.

he wasnt talking burp systems, and that 8 is in a crx burping at 60+ hz, and its only getting 4300 rms or so clamped.
and quit being a baby and put some power to that bish

havnt heardmany single 12 st ups. best one ive heard was an old school 4 spoke orange basket mojo 12. kid didnt know what he had got it for 100 bucks with the box. the box was way too big. like 3 feet long dual ported on each end. i figred it to be 3 cubes minimum. i then turned it into a 15 box and it worked great for an sa15. anyway i put it in 2.2 cubes tund atabout 34 hz. got surprisingly loud...then the dustcap flew off and hit the winshield lol.

Im currently running A 12-ZV3 off an saz-1500 in a custom box thats hitting pretty good, havent had it on a meter yet but hopefully soon!!

On a quick and dirty build about 7 years ago, with stock electrical, the best I pulled for two Street A comps was a 145.1.

i did a 141.3 meca legal on the headrest with a single dd9512. that was with a slot ported box tuned to 34 hertz for music, and a freshly reconed sub that was still stiff as h3ll.

theres a guy in the org im in(fcbc) that does a 149.27 on music average(no burp...45 sec @ headrest) with a single 12

i wanna meter this trf 12. i have a small 18 box (5 ish cubes tuned at 34 hz which is a good size for that sub on this power) so i may throw another baffle on it and try it out kinda doubt i will tho

Nate Munson's pumpkin was an extreme vehicle (concrete/steel/lexan) and not musical (nor street legal)...

My personal best (for a musical box) is 146.09db at 47hz with single soloX 12 on 1117 watts. Smaller box and tuned higher I gain 3db though... =/

A friends budget system did a 143db with pioneer 12inch champion series on a brz1700 at 37hz in a ford explorer

understood. my point is - asking what sub is the loudest is pointless and meaningless.

the vehicle and the installation determine how loud you will be - not what brand you have printed on the sub.
