How big a box could i get into the back of a grand cherokee for 2 12 L7s to maximize spl.
meaning you will get sick of it quick. BOOOm BOOOM boom audiobahn BOOm boomand boomin beast why L7s not for SPL? or was that sarcasm?
Why assume tuning higher will automatically sound louder? To the ear, a low tune will definitely be louder... and more impressive. L7's tuned to 45hz will sound horrible.35 hz for highest daily spl???? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif well that would make those subs sound better for sure.. and im sure they would still be loud.. but why not like 40-45 hz? a lot of companies recommend 40 as a general DD SPL tuning...
id say 40 is more realistic.. 45 is kinda pushin it and you wont have muych sound quality the higher you go. and yeah go somewhere around 5 cubes (net).. and lots of port area. im sure you wont have a problem fitting 6 or 7 cubes worth of total box in the back of a cherokee.
make sure you send them at least 600 each.. almost 1000 would be even better, granted you know how to not blow subs.

and to the orig. poster.. youll get tired of showin off after a while and youll want your subs to sound good.. but ill let you figure that out yourself. but for now just dont be dumb by waking people up at 1 in the morning by showin off to sleeping neighbors.
