does anyone know the db rating of the 15" btl? i dont think it says on the FI site...

are the btl and the bl comparable or is the btl way better?

and which brand has the best quality since all the subs are very similar? FI, RE, or AQ. (all 1000rms and around 90 db)

would you recommend pushing any of the 1000rms subs more then 1000 for daily use? I probably might go like 200 over or something but nothing to much, im just wondering if it has a big effect on the sub

What is RD Audio ?????????? Sorry haven't heard of that one. And there are plenty of loud 15's out there if you aren't going to compete, I would pick a $ amount and figure out what fits in the price range. Check out the classifieds, and you can always buy, trade and sale them if you don't like em. It is all personal preference, and every set-up is different, so trail and error would be my suggestion. Also go to the DB Drag website and look to see what the champs are using, then go from there.

If you get an HDC you'll want 2k. With the gain set properly and the right enclosure they'll take even more...

Thats a horrible idea. The people who compete in dbdrag usually have setups designed for high tuned burps. The subs they use are not compariable to what daily use drivers are. Two very different applications.

What extras for the fi BL should i get if any? Are they even worth it? Its $355 with all the stuff and $280 w/out, and daily or spl option?

if i use the hifonics BXi 1608D amp at 1ohm its 1600 watts, will the sub last running that much(every time i use it)? and i take it thats the dual 1 option?

is the BL worth the extra $100 with the options compaired to a Re SX?

I'm sorry yeah I meant bass race, I'm sorry that I didn't go into detail, I would have figured he would have known. But even still some of those setups are daily drivers.
