15" SX vs. 12" MX

I'm looking for input on which you think would be better off of 1000-1200 watts. The 15" sx would be in a 3.5 cubic feet enclousure at 35hz. The mx would be in a 2 cubic foot enclosure around 32hz. I want SQl with it geared more towards SQ. Thanks for any input.

SX is more SQ orientated and the wattage is better for an SX than an MX...

I thought the MX was more geared towards sq and could handle more power than the sx? I think the SE would be a better choice for the OP if he's looking for pure sq, although I don't think it'll handle 1200wrms.

Get the SX a much better overall driver then the MX..

thx MX's are pretty inefficient. They get silly low though, i'll tell you that. Plus the basket and motor setup are eye candy IMHO

unfortunately the mx really doesnt get "all that loud" but it will sound great. very picky on the box though, i'll say that. find an SX and be happy with everything.

Silly low sounds nice...Im just kinda worried about the output. I dont know why though because I had a 15" memphis PR with a JL A1200 with a 3 cub box that i liked. Either should really outdo that.

I hope the mx's are good, I'm going to be using a single mx 15" off a stetsom 2k6d and I'm hoping for some pretty good output and sq.

OH I was just sayin stupid low would be great since I like rap n screwed music. They are both great deals tho so i might do both setups if all pans out right.

I was saying more SQ than the MX. I wouldnt pick either for an SQ setup.
