loudest 12'' sub ?

i kinda changed my mind, today i went to a car show place thingy and everyone had w7's. and i dont have that kind of money sitting around be only 16 years old. i am going to sell off my whole system, run a 0 gauge ground, get the swr 1222d and make a better box. oh yeah with the bxi 1206d @ 1 ohms. i will eventually get a new pioneer h/d and then a batcap.

speakerman, would you be kind enough to help me out on a box design. my max outside demensions are 35.5 x 16 x 18.

i would just like to know the cubic foot to use, the port area (it will be slot ported) and possibly tuning freq. all i want is SPL

smart choice.. or keep that sub and put it in a 3 cube box tuned to 38-40hz, since youre keeping that amp

thats to high, and to big, i was thinjing 2.5 net, at 33 hz.

what are your thoughts on the mtx 9512 compared to the Type R 12'' with 1200 watts

The Mtx would want more power if im not mistakin. I would sell that sub and try to get the dual 2 ohm. So u could wire down to 1 ohm. If that is the new hifonics i heard they put out there rated power. Have u looked at moe lesters plans he has alot of plans around wut u need. 2.0-2.5@32-38hz would be good.

That design will work nicely. That is the exact design im using right now and with the 06 L7 it pounds. It fits with ure dimensions to. It is 2.6@32hz
