I don't know the prices on the DD's but they are going to be a lot more... You can almost bet on that...

the new DDs are sexy and 9500s are proven performers. the btls are more cost effective for getting real loud like.

Loud at which/what frequencies/frequency?

I would imagine the more SPL oriented subs would peak easier at high frequencies...

yeah kicker is off the list but i dont know how to take it off there... anyway 2 9515's with a 20.1 on each one would sound good? 9-10 cubes tuned to 38-40 for comps and pluged to 30-32hz for daily?

DO NOT TUNE THAT LOW! U loose ALOT of sq and response,tune it 38-42hz.The lowest I would tune a 9515 is 35hz but in a 6cuft box for each.Follow DD instrustions for box volume and tuning.

What about this option a DD 9918g with composite cone,cant really beat it,loud and great sq and will handle the power.Also what about 2 12" Kicker Solo Xs?
