Loud single cab systems

well right now i'm running two kicker comp 12's in about 2.5cuft sealed....and they get amazingly loud...so i know i've i go with maybe two top notch tens...or 1 12 i should be able to get pretty loud....but i cant have no more than like 5.75in of mounting depth, without some kind of spacer or so

I have a 10'' Fi BL off a JL 1000/1 in 1.6@37. Haven't been metered yet but it's decently loud for a reg cab truck.

I don't know if you're asking me or not but mine's about 10.5'' at the bottom and 7.5'' at the top and 20'' tall.

i had 4 8's in my isuzu back in the day. got pretty fvckin loud.

I used to have 4 10"s in a single cab Sonoma, off a Brutus 1200D. 3 cf sealed. never metered tho, louder than 2 12" L7s off a kx1200.1 in a nice ported box that my buddy had. i was happy with it back then, i thought it was the shit lol. Now i know what LOUD bass actually is

what kinda 8's were they...cuz that was another route i thought about taking...something like 3 L7 8's

to be honest. i don't remember. that was years ago. it was an internet brand. the kicker L7 8 gets pretty loud. i heard 1 in a ported box. i bet 3 would get pretty damn loud.

the thing is i plan on using my same box...just replacing the front plate so that the 3 8's would go in....how well do you think 3 would sound off of about 2.5cuft sealed

if the box is solid, it may work. seal it with silicone good. maybe add a little bracing on the inside to make it stronger and bring volume down a touch.

ive got a 12" sx on 2000 watts but 2.25 cu ft at 38 hz in my chevy 1500 no were to get it metered around here though but its loud id guess its in the 140 range

I would just make a new box. Why limit your options?

**** the passenger. You can use a single sub and be just as loud as most people with multiple subs and save room. Plus its more impressive to say you only have a single sub.
