loud sealed subs!

looking for loud good sounding sealed subs more spl if it comes down to it I just don't have room to port unless there 12"s heres my choices

2 15" L7

2 15" SI Mag's

2 15" SS RL-p's

Yeah....ported. They have pretty limited linear excursion compared to the other two drivers with only minimally more cone area.

Sealed, both the Mags or Rl-p's have the potential for more output, plain and simple. More linear displacement.

Plus I would take the sound of a Rl-p or Mag over an L7, personally.

IMHO, Mag or Rl-p hands down.

i still say L7, they can get loud sealed and ported and they can sound good. they also saves u money which is always a plus

And the Rl-p's can get louder, sound just as good (and better, IMO), and only cost minimally more than unauthorized L7's (the SS's would have full warranty). Plus Mike is flat out one of the best people to deal with.

yes this has to be sealed people some people say L7's sucked sealed but sblazar has named numerous times that they are great sealed subs. But if squeak is right saying that Mags and Rl-p are louder then the L7's sealed then I'm prob going to go with those since I know the sound quaitly will be better. I'm leaning towards the Mag's and when I talk about loudness I'm not talking about at the mic but to the ear in feel.

I'm hoping you meant L7 and not w7 becuase Jl is not really a choice

new Mag is better SQ wise than the W7 and slightly more output than a W7. I've tested them both. I live in NC and only 20mins from SI and love the Mag. Sealed it was just as loud as a 160v.2 in a sealed box. Mag outdoes the Rl-p in both SQ and output. The new mag's low end is one of the best i've seen in this price range and has a slightly higher extension than the older versions. Mags hands down will beat the rest, and i wouldn't even put the L7 in with a Mag or Rl-p. L7

How much power? From a linear displacement standpoint, the W7 comes out on top in both 12" and 15" (13.5"). The Mag may get as loud, but either because the W7 wasn't reaching full potential, enclosure differences or the Mag was exceeding it's linear excursion limit.
