Since everybody is picky here's my 3 brands...Cerwin Vega

Rockford Fosgate

Alpine

Wattage I dont care

Money idle dont care how much

Want a 12" or an 15" subwoofer

Which brand makes better subwoofers and speakers?

Look at the fosgate P3 12 or 15s, or if you have more cash the T1s are also great woofers from RF.

Dont know about vega, if you wanna go alpine. Alot of people like type-rs

Get some Type R's don't skimp on the box. Get a good custom one made. And get a decent amp and you'll be very happy I'm guessing.......

Have to agree with him, those Solo X's were pretty **** loud even on only 2800 to 2900 watts lol. First time for me to sit in a car with a system that actually hurt.

If you get the new remakes, the P3s are impressive. If anything 2003-2011, stick with Type Rs

Of your list I've only experienced the Type R and I enjoyed it, I found it performed better at 1,000rms

Still the 2 atm. Have a true 3k going to them now (vs like 2400 after rise). I'm working on front stage before we built the monster box. I'll do 4 of them on about 8k of that Warhorse when it's all said and done with. Should be fun.

lol they are both good subs. The New stlye p3s are suppose to be awesome, but honestly ide go RF T0s(there a step up from p3s, they also made in 12in models)
