Loud Build? Opinions & What to Expect.

I Just Purchased An Ermagerd 18 Last Night & I have @cherrymanCustoms Building a Nice Box For it right now, I plan on putting this in a 2000 Tahoe The F3 Of the Box is 22.6hz I plan on playing it the most around the low 20's On a NS1, I've Never Had A "Low" Build, My last build Was A HDC3 18 On a Hifonics Brutus Elite 1600 Tuned To 38hz. What's The Difference between the two builds sound, flex & air wise, & Will the Ermagerd Be Louder @25hz Since The power Is Almost 5 Times The Amount As The HDC3 Build.

can your viechle support the ns1 ? do you have electrical upgrades ?

im a suburban owner - our trucks are huge inside - that large air space needs alot of motor force / and cone movment to exite the amount of air we have inside the large suv. dont expect hair tricks off of 1 18" but it will dig deep and sound mighty enjoyable to daily with.

my biggest pet peve was my roof. it flexed like a son of a gun. flexing is lost sub energy that could be transfered to the user inside via preasure but its lost in the viechle flex. so dont be thrifty with your sound deadner - and possibly think about going crazy doing something to stiffen up your roof.

Yes I do, & I do need to buy some Deadener Still, & I have seen hair tricks off the Ermagerd as a single 18 but if I don't get the hairtrick out of it it's not too big of a deal.

I've had a few single 18 setups in my Tahoe back in the day and I liked my box that was 7cubes with 105" of port tuned to 34hz... It would slam the lows and had a bandwidth of 25-40 until It started to roll off. With a Tahoe being so big u prly won't get any hair tricks and will prly do a 146-148db

I always wondered who these sold to. Now I know.

Box tuned to 29Hz? Hopefully you'll get more than a half of an octave of bandwidth out of that. Should, but it's also going to depend on the truck and enclosure build/orientation. SUV's typically peak high.

What do you Mean When You said you always wondered Who "These" Sold too, Just Curious.
