I have an 01 Tahoe, and we have a Dual double din, plus aftermarket speakers that were installed by previous owner.
After my husband was doing some rewiring for speakers ,whenever I turn the volume up to about 25-35 (goes from 0-46) we lose audio & have to power off/on. That's if the truck is running. And closing driver door sometimes makes it do it.
If just using acc, I can blare it, no problem.
We're assuming its a short, but where?
