Looking to upgrade battery but not get a HO alt.

I dont have the extra money and my stock alt is flawless. Would upgrading the stock battery help? and if so, what steps should i take in doing so?

im assuming dimming is what you are trying to help with?

the best thing you can do for that is to run 1/0 to your trunk and put a deka 9a31 in the back and run you amp off that

the hc600 is only rated for 600 watts,

well less than what your running,

not to mention you can get a deka 9a31 off dbeez on the forum for around 100

Is the stock battery the full-size one or the mini one cause you want to replace that too if the CCA is lower than 600.

You must be able to maintain a 12.7 volt State of Charge on an AGM battery if you let it sag and leave it sag you will be replacing it a lot sooner than you will want to be.
