Looking to sell my setup, how much would you sell it for?

Well guys, like the title says, I'm looking to sell my setup. I know what I have is not top of the line, but its not Dual or Boss either. I'm gonna post pix of most of the stuff too so you can get an idea. First off, an Infinity Kappa 6x8 comp set. I paid $180 shipped for it a year ago. I still have the crossovers but they have some rust on them from being in my doors. The set is currrently active so they've been put away for 6 mos. I'm looking to get $80-$100 for these. Here's the tricky part, I have the tweets in custom fiberglass pods. I paid roughly $100 after everything. Not sure what to ask for them since they are for the sails*(inside part opposite the side mirrors?) for an '06 dodge magnum. I'm sure they can go in a charger or 300 easily. Next is the Zapco Reference 650 6ch amp. This thing is amazing. Currently asking $425 obo on craigslist. Wondering if that is a reasonable price? I thought it had problems, but I spoke with both Zapco and Amp Medic and it was taken care of. Next is a Focal 30a1 12". Its in a 1 cubic ft. sealed enclosure. Dont even know where to start on that.

Well, that's the stuff. Let me know what you think. I think I priced most of it fairly. Thanks in advance guys.

I think you're pricing your stuff pretty well. The Focal I would ask about $150 for depending what kind of shape it's in. They're about 250 a piece at Sonic right now. And the Zapco you should probably try to get rid of on here or another audio site. That's too "classy" of an amp for Craigslist and you'll never get $425 for it. But there is plenty of people on here that love Zapco amps and know the value.

Thanks! I might have to try posting it here or elsewhere. A little apprehensive on shipping this beast because it's huge. Still in the dark about the tweeter pods though. Any ideas?

should sell for that price. what are you going for next ?
Not sure bro. For sure something a little more sq oriented, since I have one car and 2 kids under the age of 2. No big bass for now.

well hopefully it sells quick man. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

i've bought and sold a lot over the years.

you need to maximize buyer confidence. just a pic or two doesn't do that.

when i sell speakers/subs i use my woofer tester to provide impedance plots and T/S parameters. the cheaper method is using a DMM to show pics of each voice coil resistance.

for higher dollar amp, pics of scope or DMM measurements showing rated output voltage on each channel - hopefully proving the amp is fully functional.

all pics are close-up, in good lighting, in focus, and clearly show every side/angle of each piece.

lastly, any original packaging, original manuals, speaker mounting accessories, etc. that came with the stuff is appreciated.

what you can get stuff for is highly dependent on your ability to increase buyer confidence.

i've flipped car audio on ebay for years, simply taking better pics and fully measuring/testing.

Thanks for the advice KHA, I will keep ALL of that in mind. I'm just not sure of how to use my DMM for impedance and well honestly I don't know how to use it. I was hoping you would give me an answer on the tweeter pods because I know you're an expert in that as well.

The pods may be able to be adapted to other vehicles. Try listing the comp set and pods in forums for that vehicle. That way it is a guaranteed fit for those buyers.

Use the DMM set to ohms. Red lead on one terminal, black lead on the other. Take a pic of the number with all cables visible. Repeat. No power required.

Thanks for the reply. I will do both.
