I have 2 Phoenix Gold 10" QX subs, in a custom box. They were installed in my Sunbird but I got rid of the car. The subs were being powered by a Clarion amp 2x75W at 4 ohms. I also have a set of JBL 3 way 6x9's. If you are interested, email me. The price is negotiable. Make me an offer. I'm willing to give a better deal if the subs and amp go together.

Hmmm... We are looking fo an amp to drive a pair of 10" Memphis Audio subs, but they are 2 Ohms each... can your amp handle that, and what would the RMS power be then?

On your system, was it loud enough...? I would have thought more power would be needed, but then this is my first attempt at a "loud" stereo!

What sort of money did you want for the amp? Email me if you prefer... there is a link in my profile...

The amp was more than enough for the subs. They weren't as loud as some other types, but they sounded clean. I believe the installer said the the subs were getting about 300 watts RMS.

Ok... Really sorry to be a pain here - what model is the amp, because I am really confused here! If as you say it is a Clarion 2 x 75W, then I am curious that it is producing 300W to the subs.... I could see that it would give 150W if bridged, but....300W???

If it is 300W though, I'm very interested!

Martin...

The 2x75 is at 4 ohms. When you decrease the resistence by dwiring the subs at 2 ohms you increase the power (Watts). That means essentially the subs are each getting about 150 watts RMS.

yo waz up how many watts rms is those subs. what shape is the box. will it fit good in my 98 cavilire. do u think it would hit harder than my 12" rf hx2?. holla back.

Im not the one Selling them, but i know they will fit in your car,cause my friend has the same one with 12"s in it. I dont think they could out hit your Hx2. If u want your Hx2 louder, then Port the FuKer. If its all ready ported, make the box bigger and tune it higher
