i would focus on deadener and speaker placement above all other things

alpine has a video deck or 2 that works with the 701

they have 3

w200, w205, w505, + h701 = ***

But like other have said, your front stage is the key to sq. Try the cdt's you allready have. You might like em. Mids were decent but there tweets made me cry.

But give em a try alot of people like there tweets.

oh and make sure to deaden your doors. Your not gonna get anywhere without doing that.

SQ is "right" side so to speak, its perfect for those who think they are better than everyone else. I don't know much about it but it is facinating(sp?) to me regardless of the tools that make it uninteresting at times.

No, it's perfect for those that prefer to be engulfed with the entire audio spectrum, other than 20-80hz.

Sure, all of you like music, that is why we're here right? I don't need music that rattles teeth or knocks fine china off the walls in people's houses as I drive down the street.

Neither is right or wrong, just different ways of accomplishing similar goals. We like music, some like it this way, and others that way.
