Looking to get some subs for my car

Hey, I'm looking for some opinions on what types of subs/amp(s)/box to get for my car. I listen to primarily rock (alternative, punk, metal...etc), but I like pretty much anything and will occasionally listen to some rap, techno, and other stuff.

I'm only looking to spend $300-$450. So I was thinking of getting two 10" alpine type Rs, I'm not really sure about the amp, and probably a sealed 2.0-2.25^3 box.

What kinda amp do you think I should get, and what do you think about my other ideas? I'm not looking for something too crazy that will scare the neighbors just something that will sound good and give me some power when I want it.

Go with the Type R's, Great sub!! They produce a nice SQ as well as a nice loud punch.

Only heard a few R's and both in ported boxes, loud but SQ was lacking for sure.

All will get respectably loud and have good SQ.
