I was recently in an accident and i had 2 orion 250rms subwoofers and a kenwood 500rms amp hooked up *Lol sad i know, but i gave them to my big brother cuz hes been helping me find a new car*

I just bought a 2003 grand cherokee and have about $1600 left

Im looking for a LOUD set up (Possibly being able to do the hair trick?) i would also like to be able to compete in local competitions and such.

ABC is trying to get me to buy 2 800rms T1's and such but i have always felt rockford to be overpriced/overrated (Tell me if you think differently)

What do you suggest?

keep in mind i need to purchase:

2 subwoofers (12,15, 18? What would you suggest?)

an amplifier

0 gauge wiring

and a custom ported box *from abc would cost about $200*

well if you wanna compete definately dont do the rockfords... and on that budget you can get a pretty decent setup. Most likely youll want a batcap or battery if your going 0 ga and want a large amp. Do the big 3 as well. do you have a headunit or do you need that in your budget too?

i've got your amps ,a stetsom 2kd that will put out over 3k ay 1ohm and a 4 channel efx 100 x 4 rms 750 shipped for both the 2kd is new and the efx is used,if you look you can get some subs for about 400 plus shipping and el weenie has some 0 gauge he'll sell you.that should put you in around 1300 plus the box.

the above amps and 4 sa-10s would do some damage. but the 4 10s may be a bit too much for your budget.

So Im still looking for something that will have decent burps and still be nice with music *Like hopefully something to do the tricks, yet still sound alright*

I like the stuff people have been leaving me here to aswell to research
