OP - Why do you want to change from an IDmax?

I would mess around with the idmax you already own.if not, i vote FI Q

I plan on using the IDMAX at first but i will probably want to try something else down the line. I'm just seeing what everyone has to say of the ones that i have listed to see which one would be the best option thats all.

From personal experience/preference. IDMAX> Fi Q, RL-p, ED.

HDC can easily be an SQL sub in the right enclosure. I enjoy the sound of mine and they do get loud.

Q would also do very well off the power you have, but can be bottom heavy, so a little EQ down low would help.

Ran RL-P's a few years ago, but the sound was kind of dry to me, just didn't have enough punch. But I like my music VERY loud at times, so that could be why.

Honestly most of the subs listed could sound good for daily and get respectably loud. Building the right enclosure will make a big diff and getting the sub to blend with your front stage...
