sort of a feeler, wanna know what im working with as far as money goes, box isnt for me for a friend but heres what i'd need

looking for a ported box for a pair of kicker cvr 12"s, dimensions arent really an issue, its going in a jeep 2000 cherokee sport, subs up, port back.. not sure on tuning... 35hz? dont wanna go TOO low on this... black carpeting, terminal cups, etc.

as far as cubic feet and such, not sure what each takes, oh and would like common chamber box.

lemme know your prices shipped to 13167.

best thing to do is make up a cut sheet...then go buy some MDF at lowes...They will cut the wood for you on a big panel saw....the first cut is usually free then a .25 for each additional cut.....tip the cutting guy a $20.00 since he probably only makes $7.50 an hour...and tell him what cuts you want and you need them measured correctly...you can have your box cut to specs...then put it together with screws and silicone....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i can get it cut for free, my mom's a manager at lowes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

but it aint my money, and i prolly wont ever find the time to put it together.. lol

but i'd still need a design and a cut sheet

EVerytime I have tried that the cuts have been off by 1/8th or more. They simply don't put as much time in it as you want them to, even if you tip them. Find a milling place and have them do the cuts. I payed 70 for all my wood and to have it cut and the wood was equivalent to a sheet and a half. Building a box is extremely easy, no use in spending 200 and up to have one built and shipped unless it is some special design.

Shoot me an EMAIL at vitveet@hotmail.com

Won't cost yah but around $140 shipped to you or so.

You'll wanna give those cvr's around 1.8 to 2 cubes each and the lower you tune them, the better they sound....or should I say the higher you tune them, the WORSE they sound, lol!

I'll get you squared away, just shoot me an email!
