Looking to buy new subs. Need some suggestions.

I have 2 audiopipe 12's and they have been pumping pretty hard. I recently popped one and I've been looking to get some better speakers anyway. I have a mitsubishi eclipse so it's a tight fit. I wanted to get a jl 12w7 but the reviews I have heard havent been the greatest. Any one have any ides? Price doesnt matter just looking for opinions. I want something that will shatter windows.

Well, your "reviews" are wrong. Other than the price, the w7 is a fantastic sub. As far as "shattering windows", just take a rock and throw it at your window. It'll be alot more inexpensive. Welcome to Ca.com. What is your budget on everything(subwoofer/amp/HU)?

No a rock wont do it....I want other peoples not mine. I have a pioneer deh-6600 and if i were to get a w7 i would match it with jl's amp....I say 1500 for subs&amp.

You want all out spl or mix or just sq or what, why would you want to shatter windows , but any way you need lots of room for that which i doubt you have. and i reccomend Any of REs subs (MT cough... cough... SPL ONLY)

You can get both of these for around $400 each, these are the best subs on the market IMO (price/SPL/sound quality) and I do have experience with both. Plus if you need to save space they will work in small sealed enclosures....... 1 cubic ft. I have not heard these but I hear that they are great subs as well.

I'm really looking for SPL and a lot at that. SQ is always good but mostly looking for SPL with average quality sound.
